After implementing our branding for the past 4 years, NULC were looking for a refreshing take on an already existing visual style. They wanted something new and exciting, and yet still related to the old NULC brand.
I created with this option using a ‘moving on up’ theme. I developed a ‘lava lamp’ element which I believed was a strong and memorable addition to the old branding. This could be the basis of their new look and be applied across different media, while still having a link and complementing the old prospectus design. I did this by using the same bold black and orange colour scheme and copy font they had originally used in their literature.
