Donington Park were looking for an identity which would be used across promotional literature and signage and also as a badge on any clothing worn at the race course. They stressed that they were looking for a ‘classic’ logo design – something timeless. The park’s motor racing heritage was important but I also had to consider that the logo would also be used for other events at the park such as concerts and exhibitions. I decided to incorporate an arch my logo to mirror the Dunlop Tyre bridge – the park’s most recognisable landmark.
